Nearly 900 million handheld computers are expected to be in use by 2015. How relevant is this shift to mobile and the growth of apps? Benedict Evans, consultant with media & technology analyst firm Enders Analysis, believes we are in a fundamental transition in the way we use digital

Case study- a story of radical brand transformation through brand storytelling.
Business in highly competitive and often relatively low margin sectors focus their energy quite rightly on service excellence and risk mitigation.
In this pursuit to deliver competitive service levels, businesses often forget 'who they are and why they are different'. They stop communicating 'ATTITUDE' and focus on 'A to B'.
Strategy, tick. Values, tick. Visual identity, tick.
For some companies, that's when they start working out how they'll achieve it. Yet the implementation will most likely take the bulk of budget. Three companies who tackled implementation from the outset discuss their experiences.

Race against deadline for companies eager to declare interim dividendTaxmann
The companies suddenly seem to be in a rush to declare interim dividend. The driving reason behind this rush lies in the amendments inserted in the Finance Bill, 2016.

Coutts and National Portrait Gallery: Grayson Perry: Who Are You? - Corporate...Communicate Magazine
Coutts has long supported the arts industry with sponsorship programmes running over the past 300 years. From Octoober 2014 to March 2015, Coutts was the headline sponsor of the fascinating Grayson Perry: Who are you? exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.
Grayson Perry's exhibition display featured Britons that embody a particular potent aspect of contemporary British identity. Coutts used its association with the exhibition to highlight its specialist interests – investing through art and philanthropy – while also championing the important role of the arts in the economy. The sponsorship has resulted in almost 300,000 visitors attending the display, with 96% of them would recommend the exhibition to a friends or family.

How does an airline become the third most discussed airline on social media in the UK when it only has 14 planes? bmibaby used Twitter, Instagram, and conventional PR to inspire a generation of travellers
In March this year, Shell launched one of the most feature-rich corporate apps so far for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices — and Shell say there’s more to follow. Within one month, the Apple app had been downloaded over 3,000 times.

This paper discusses assembly operations using a single manipulator and a parallel gripper to simultaneously
grasp multiple objects and hold the group of temporarily assembled objects. Multiple robots and jigs generally operate
assembly tasks by constraining the target objects mechanically or geometrically to prevent them from moving. It is
necessary to analyze the physical interaction between the objects for such constraints to achieve the tasks with a single
gripper. In this paper, we focus on assembling pipe joints as an example and discuss constraining the motion of the
objects. Our demonstration shows that a simple tool can facilitate holding multiple objects with a single gripper.
