Description
The course offers facility managers and engineers the opportunity to enhance their
knowledge and get practical training on the principles of advanced Control Systems for
Buildings: design, specification, detailed shop drawing, testing, acceptance,
commissioning, implementation, performance analysis, and day-to-day operation. The
participants will obtain practical guidelines on equipment design criteria: duct sizing and
distribution, fan sizing and calculations. Starting with the design of industrial exhausts,
ventilation, industrial and commercial lighting equipment, the course further gives
insights on how to comply with international fire code criteria. The course equips
learners with a variety of practical techniques on control systems implementation in
building automation using PLC, DCS and SCADA applications. Principles of integrating
the various systems within a building are also explained.
Objective
To provide advanced techniques and concepts for effective control systems of high
performance buildings.
Who Should Attend
Facility managers, project managers, design engineers, contractors, and
commissioning agents who want to increase their knowledge of building control
systems
This course currently does not have
any dates scheduled. Please call 1-
877-313-8881 to enquire about future
dates.
Cancellation Policy
To withdraw from a course, you must send a request,
in writing, with the official receipt to our office. Fifteen
or more business days in advance: full refund less
$50.00 administration charge. Five to fifteen business
days in advance: non-refundable credit of equal value
