? Speeches are a method many use to raise issues they care about
and clearly present their arguments.
? Can you think of any famous speeches that have been used for this
purpose?
? Why do you think they are good?
What makes a good speech
? On one side of the room put on post its what you feel are the
features of a good speech
? On the other side of the room put on post its what you feel are the
features of a bad speech
? Don’t just think about the obvious (e.g. eye contact) think about the
content too!!
