Here are 11 tips
to help you edit in minutes.
1 Save your doc in a convenient location with an
updated name to reflect the latest changes.
2 Set the language for your doc; Choose a legible
font with an appropriate size to aid reading.
Enable track changes – you can choose to work
in either view: Final or Final Showing Mark up.3
Use the Find and Replace tool to identify and eliminate
all instances of double spacing between words.4
Run spell check to fix any red/green squiggles. But
remember it won’t spot misspellings that form another
word.

Run the cursor along each word you read;
this will help you correct any errors pronto.

•  Use of it’s vs. its
•  Commonly misspelled words

Ensure that all hyperlinks placed within the text are
functional and highlighted.9
Check for any footnotes/endnotes cited within the text.10

have missed.
