1. Camera Work By Yasmin, Esther, Esma

3. This is the first picture it was medium shot from an angle. The Yasmin is positioned at the centre of the frame. It shows a Yasmin sitting at her table who appears to be bored. This shot is effective as it shows the viewers that the Yasmin is clearly bored because she is resting on her arm. We have used I big close-up of a hand knocking on the door. The hand is at the centre of the frame, taking up two thirds of the frame; this is effective as it shows the viewers the importance's of the hand. Improvements: I think we could have zoomed in more, and changed the arm of Yasmin, so her bored facial expression was not blocked Improvements: Make hand flatter and more central. Also, take off the jewellery so it doesn’t draw attention away form the hand, which should be the main focus.

4. We used an extreme close-up of the Yasmin’s face which takes up the whole frame; this effective as it emphases her shocked facial expression. We used a medium shot of the Yasmin getting up to open the door. Yasmin face takes up the right third of the frame, the rest is taken up by her surroundings to show that she is moving towards the door. Improvements: Take the glasses off Yasmin’s face as they appear misty and reflect the light. Also I would straighten up the frame to keep the eyes at the same level. Improvements: Edit the image by cutting some of the background on the left away, so only Yasmin was shown, as she is the main focus at this point.

5. This is a long shot of Yasmin walking towards the door. She is positioned on the left third of the frame. The long shot is effective as it enables the viewers to see the surroundings and to continue with the story. This is a high angle shot of the Yasmin opening the door. This is effective as it gives the audience an omniscient view of what is going on in the frame and the story. Improvements: Make sure that the door is closed and not ajar ,as it doesn’t flow with the rest of then sequence as in the next shot the door is closed. Improvements: If this shot could be improved, the camera could have been placed at a higher angle, and the piece of paper in the corner to be removed as it casts a shadow on the image and ruins the shot.

6. An Over-the-Shoulder shot is used here, Yasmin and Esma, take up a third of the frame each. However, Esma is in the middle frame, whilst Yasmin is on the left with her back turned. This is effective as it draws the audiences main focus to Esma who is the new character of the story and most important character of the frame at this point. A medium-long shot is used here, with Esma and Yasmin positioned centrally in the frame. This is effective as it straight away draws your eyes to their embrace as the view of the surrounding is limited. The friendly body language and the happy facial expressions on Yasmin's frame, show that the two are clearly friends and happy to see each other. Improvements: Retake the shot at the previous door, and the background is too busy and may take away the focus from Yasmin and Esma.

7. Here a long shot of Esma and Yasmin is used. Once again the two each take up one third, allowing the surroundings to take up the third third. This is effective as it again allows the audience to follow along with the story by seeing the setting. The body language and facial expressions are similar to previous , which again suggests that the two character know each other and are good friends This final shot, a Two shot is used of the characters are used. To suggest that they are within a conversation. This is effective as it Improvements: Once again clear the busy background as the television and door stop on the floor, also move focus away form Yasmin and Esma..Also make Yasmin's show less profile as we are unable to see her facial expressions as clearly as Esma’. Improvements: Make Yasmin show turn more face on, and to clear her hair away from her face. Also, take the piece f paper away form Esma, as it draws the attention away from the two characters, and the story.
