From the family Leporidae. This family has over 50 species.,[object Object]
How do they live? They live in groups. Most groups are filled with the European rabbits as they are the most common. In England, they are filled with wild rabbits. They stay in underground burrows for most of the day. A group of underground burrows is called a warren.
A few reasons why they live in woodlands They live in woodlands because they can eat lots of food and it won’t run out. Rabbits primarily feed on grass and leafy plants, but they will feed on bulbs, bark and twigs.
Why are underground burrows useful? They are useful because if a predator tries to kill it, it can hide in it and the predators won’t be able to fit. Also it gives them shelter in cold, wet nights.
Roaming around It is very important that there is a big space for them to roam around. This is so it can can get fit to run away from predators. It needs approx. 1 hour of roaming around a day.

How To Identify tracks? Firstly, you make a round cylinder with some card and place it over the footprint. Then fill the cylinder with plaster of paris and wait for it to set. After it sets, you will see the footprints. Rabbit Footprints:
