3. All About August
Family: Nate ( dad), Isabell ( mom ), Via ( Sister ), Darth Daisy ( Dog/ RIP ), Bear ( Dog #2 ),
Grans ( grandma ).
In the beginning, August had bad relationships. But during the middle of the book he starts
to make more friends and better relationships. For example, Summer and August had a
good relationship from the start. Another example, is Julian he is a bad character with a bad
relationship during the whole book with August.
Dislikes and Likes: August likes may things and doesn’t like too much stuff. For example,
he likes science and loves to read. An example for dislikes, is that he doesn’t like to meet
new people.
Activities: August’s daily activities is Science Fair,The Egyptian Tomb Project, Thanksgiving
Sharing Festival, Winter Concert,and Art Show.

August is a major

thoughts and emotions
and in the book he also
has the most parts in the
book that we read.

August is a dynamic in the book
because at the very beginning of
the book he didn’t go to school. He
went to school later in the book. He
also made more friends throughout
the book. He also had long hair at
the beginning of the book and at the
end of the book he had short hair.

6. Round or Flat?
August is a

character.
August is a round character because
in the story they give us details about
his life, therefore he is a round
character. Some things about his life
is, that he had lots of serious and not
serious surgeries. That's why he has
lots of different scars. He was born
with a different face and so they did
surgeries to fix that. He also has a
left cleft palate.
