The Warrior Leader Course is a training program for junior Army leaders to develop leadership, training, and warfighting skills through three blocks of instruction. The leadership block covers topics like counseling, correspondence, culture, and suicide prevention. The training block focuses on risk management, after action reviews, and conducting individual training. The warfighting block teaches small unit combat operations and tactics. Students are evaluated through leadership assessments, examinations, drills, and a situational training exercise to practice their new skills.
