Before attending the MCBS Program, the author was originally a graphic design major at a different college they attended mostly due to feeling pressure to go to college. They realized graphic design did not satisfy their creative abilities and love of talking to and learning about people. This led them to change their major and transfer colleges entirely. The author feels their current degree is a better fit and they have been more successful in their education than they could have imagined. They plan to work hard, learn everything they can, and eventually graduate to pursue a career in film, marketing or music, which have long been dreams of theirs.

Realizing he needed more knowledge and skills, Matt tried self-teaching but found structured learning better. He decided to continue his education by attending Full Sail University's online MCBS program to expand his skills and pursue his passion for media.

The author was a married father of three who was unsatisfied with his everyday life. He worked full time and pursued a local hip hop career, which provided some success but not enough to be a primary income. In 2012, he dedicated his life to his savior Jesus Christ, which transformed him and made him realize the importance of achieving a college degree to be a good role model for his children. With the support of his wife, he enrolled in the MCBS program at Full Sail University. He has found new purpose and pride as a student and knows that studying advertising and marketing will lead him to something greater, with God's guidance.

Allison Albee created a commercial and two print advertisements for her senior project promoting adoptions through The Humane Society of America. Through her research into advertising techniques, she aimed to give her audience a new perspective on dogs without being deceptive. While she enjoyed the creative aspects of designing the campaign, the project helped her realize she prefers to pursue a career in film and photography business where she can be her own boss. Although the senior project was stressful, it helped Allison discover she wants to major in mass media arts to make her dream a reality.

The author researched learning institutions and chose to attend Full Sail University to advance their career and obtain a degree in media, hoping it would be a rewarding career change following being laid off from their previous job of many years.

Kwesi Broadnax is a graphic designer, model, singer and dancer currently attending Full Sail University. He started doing graphic design at age 17 and developed his skills through online tutorials and classes. Broadnax now runs his own design business called Love Lykaon Designs, where he works as a photographer, editor and music producer, combining his various talents. His goal is to continue growing his skills and business.

She researched various programs before choosing the MCBS program, finding it interesting because it could lead to new career options after graduating and allow her to apply what she learns to her current job.
Week 2
The student was originally in a TV production program in high school but wanted to become a news anchor instead of a director. They were unsure whether to switch programs from film to media communications due to the different career focuses. After speaking to an advisor who suggested the switch, the student felt relieved to be pursuing their passion for broadcast journalism in the media communications program.

Ben Goldstone is an 18-year-old British student interested in pursuing a career as a film director. He is taking performing arts and media A-Levels to further his skills in filmmaking. Some of his hobbies that relate to his interest in being a director include watching movies and TV shows to analyze how they were made, drawing storyboards, and keeping up with new film trailers. He runs a blog to showcase his work and is planning to study media in university. Ben has gained work experience in retail and entertainment jobs to boost his skills in customer service and confidence speaking with others. He cites skills like vision, leadership, communication, and motivating teams as important for a director.

Wk2: Project Storyboard
- 2. Before I started the MCBS Program I attended another college as a graphic design major.
- 3. I went to this college mostly because of the pressure I felt to go to college.
- 4. The reason I attended the college that I did, was not necessarily a good reason.
- 5. I had always thought I wanted to do graphic design. But then I realized it didn’t satisfy my other creative abilities.
- 6. I have always held a love of talking to and learning about people.
- 7. Because of that, I not only changed my major, I changed my college entirely.
- 8. Because of that I have been doing better than I could have ever imagined with my education endeavors.
- 9. With the degree I am working on now, it genuinely feels right.
- 10. Because of that I now realize my comfortability with this institution.
- 11. I plan to work hard and to learn everything I can to be successful.
- 12. Until finally I can graduate and pursue a career in either film, marketing, or music.
- 13. All three have been a dream of mine and I hope that I can check them all off my to-do list.
- 14. And ever since I decided to pursue my passion for media, I feel like I have the chance to do what I’ve truly wanted to.
