CloudBrew: Windows Azure Mobile Services - Next stageTeemu Tapanila
Have a need for backend but don't have people to build it for you? Windows Azure Mobile Service is service to build backend service quickly with all of the often needed features. In this session we will start from basics and continue to next level from there and look how you can start to use the service for advanced scenarios!
The document discusses three different ways to perform CRUD (create, read, update, delete) operations on a database using ADO.NET in Visual Basic.NET. It includes code examples showing how to connect to a SQL Server database, retrieve data from a table into a DataSet, display the data in a DataGridView, and search or filter the data. The examples demonstrate using DataAdapters, DataSets, DataViews and SqlDataReaders to connect to the database and perform queries to retrieve and manipulate the data.
SISTEMA DE FACTURACION (Ejemplo desarrollado)Darwin Durand
The document describes the creation of a database in SQL Server to manage invoices and receipts. It includes tables for clients, employees, document headers, and document details. Stored procedures are created to insert data and a form is developed in Visual Studio .NET to manage documents. The form allows searching for clients and employees, adding product details, and printing reports using Crystal Reports.
This document provides instructions for creating a simple book sales application in VB.Net. It describes setting up the database tables, designing the user interface forms, and includes example code for form functionality like loading and saving data. Tables are created for book types, books, transactions, and transaction details. Forms are designed for a main menu, managing book types and books, and processing sales transactions. Code examples show connecting to the database and querying/manipulating data. The goal is to demonstrate creating a basic working application with a database backend using VB.Net.
INSERCION DE REGISTROS DESDE VISUAL.NET A UNA BD DE SQL SERVERDarwin Durand
This document shows how to insert data into a database table using Visual Basic .NET. It creates a database called "ejercicio" and a table called "PRUEBA" with various columns. A module is created to handle the database connection. A form is created with textboxes and buttons to insert data. When the "btngrabar" button is clicked, a SQL insert statement is executed to add the data from the textboxes to the "PRUEBA" table.
The document discusses various topics around integrating social media and advertising into a mobile application. It includes code snippets for integrating Twitter and Digits authentication and mentions using mopub and other ad platforms to monetize an app. It also provides some contact information for a company called wearethread.
The Ring programming language version 1.9 book - Part 82 of 210Mahmoud Samir Fayed
The document discusses the Objects Library in RingQt, which provides a more natural API for managing GUI objects and connecting events compared to using global variables. It allows opening multiple windows from the same class, setting event methods, and accessing parent/child windows easily. The library uses the MVC pattern. Examples are provided to demonstrate creating main and sub windows, and opening windows from different classes while linking them to call methods between windows. The Form Designer tool is also covered, including its interface, running generated code, and writing event handler methods.

This chapter discusses creating Windows applications in C# using Visual Studio, including differentiating between Windows and console applications, using forms and controls like buttons and labels, and handling events. It provides an overview of graphical user interfaces and windows applications, and demonstrates how to create a simple Windows application with forms and controls through code examples. The document also covers best practices for application design and the use of Visual Studio for developing Windows applications.
This document provides an overview of WinForms GUI programming in .NET. It discusses how event-driven programming works in WinForms applications and how Visual Studio supports drag-and-drop design of WinForms. It also describes some key concepts like forms, controls, properties and events. The document explains how to set up a basic WinForms application and interact with common controls like labels, text boxes and buttons.
The C# code defines a namespace and class that displays a message box with the text "hi messi" when the OK button is clicked.
The VB.NET code defines a simple calculator form class with text boxes for inputting numbers, buttons for arithmetic operations, and a result text box. It performs basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division calculations on the input numbers and displays the result.
This document describes implementing an order processing system using .NET components. It involves creating a class library component with functions for retrieving, paying, inserting, and updating orders in a database. An application is then created using Windows forms and setting a reference to the class library component to consume its services. Forms are designed to allow users to view, pay for, and manage orders placed in the database.

The code shows how to search, add, update and delete records using buttons and text boxes on the forms.
The main variable types supported by VB.NET are:
- Integer (Byte, Short, Integer, Long) - Stores whole numbers ranging from 0 to 2,147,483,647
- Floating point (Single, Double) - Stores fractional numbers ranging from ±5.0 × 10-324 to ±1.7 × 10308
- Decimal - Stores fractional numbers with greater precision than floating point types ranging from ±1.0 × 10-28 to ±7.9 × 1028
- Char - Stores a single character ranging from 0 to 65535
- String - Stores text data with no fixed limit on size
- Date/Time - Stores date and time values
- Object - Stores a reference

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.
