Wind power has several advantages such as using a free and renewable resource, not producing greenhouse gases or pollution once constructed, and requiring only small plots of land per turbine. However, it also has disadvantages like varying wind strength causing inconsistent electricity production, noise pollution from large commercial turbines, and limitations on where turbines can be placed near cities. Wind turbines work by using wind to turn blades and spin a shaft connected to a generator to produce electricity, which is then sent through transmission lines. The UAE should develop wind power as it is a free and renewable resource that does not cause pollution.
