– The problem is then dealt with remotely
– Failed laptop? Replacement is brought and
swapped.
– Hardware issue – audio visual from Sept CDEC but
currently supported by HANTS IT
– I am still needed for staff who forget to plug things
in!

9. Subject Leadership
– I can lead my subject
– Mr. Gove hasn’t given me a National Curriculum to
follow this year --- temporary freedom!
– With now 32 laptops children can work
individually, and all children have password so
securely too.
– I can finally teach the email part of the curriculum
in a safe, secure and filtered environment.

both for software and hardware.

11. Remote Access And PPG
– Easy access with crypto card for staff – less time in
school as can work from home e.g. planning,
checking policies etc etc
– Pupils can share work with parents
– Pupils have access to software they otherwise
wouldn’t have  PPG can therefore partly fund
this provision if it improves outcomes for children.

12. No Solution is Perfect
– The Peeves:
• Quite a bit of site surveying of existing equipment
• Licence chasing and then changing!
• Being without a network for 72 + hours
• All children having to have passwords – therefore need
to print out log-in cards
• Different login to VLE
• All Staff and Pupils need provisioning via SIMs
• Teething problems.
