One remarkable sign of the racial inequities plaguing the United States: The wage gap between black and white men is as large today as it was in 1950. On Blind, an anonymous professional network with 3.6+MM verified users, we wanted to gauge the financial obligations of tech professionals, across racial lines.
Damartex, Seniosphère Conseil and Market Audit again rated the happiness of women 55+ this year. The happiness of the Belgians and French women has not changed significantly compared with 2015. On the other hand, English women gave a lower grade to their happiness: 7.2/10 against 8.1/10 in 2015.
We did a questionnaire on our class to determine when and where they listen to radio, what station they listen to and if it correlates to any gender or age.

Yougov Speakers for Schools Poll of MPs, business & young people May - June ...Youth Card
Only 15% of students said that access to workplace experience would help them ‘make up for lost time due to the pandemic’. However, 37% of business leaders think that access to workplace experience will help young people recover from the effects of the pandemic. There is a disconnect here.
Counselling/mental health support (21%), more personal tutoring (21%) and participation in sports (20%) are at the top of young people’s lists in terms of post-pandemic priorities. While all of the above are indeed very important for young people’s mental, physical and academic wellbeing, it could be argued that there’s a need to stress the importance of pursuing career-progression opportunities via work experience that are available to them thanks to initiatives such as virtual work experience. This is where charities such as Speakers for School can play an important role, especially as there appears to be a lack of consensus within the business community as to who holds the responsibility to help young people get their ca

This presentation, created by Syed Faiz ul Hassan, explores the profound influence of media on public perception and behavior. It delves into the evolution of media from oral traditions to modern digital and social media platforms. Key topics include the role of media in information propagation, socialization, crisis awareness, globalization, and education. The presentation also examines media influence through agenda setting, propaganda, and manipulative techniques used by advertisers and marketers. Hope as a measure of
public policy
• The assessment of public policy with
happiness has recently become popular.
• However, “happiness” (and even “life
satisfaction”) may be increased by short-
sighted treatments, even though it would
damage long-term prosperity.
• “Hope” may be a good measure of the
public assessment of long-term prosperity.
