John 3:1-5. A New Life In Christ. In the new life we have been born again. In the new life we are a new creation. In the new life we crucify the flesh with its passions and desires. In the new life we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. In the new life we are renewed by the Holy Spirit. In the new life we are dead to sin but alive to God. In the new life we are washed from our sins. in the new life we put to death the old man and put on the new man. In the new life we died and our life is hidden with Christ in God. In the new life we were brought back from death in sin.
Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study:
“The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body.
We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man.
Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.
WE MUST ALWAYS ASK THE LORD FOR US TO REALLY BE DEPENDENT IN HIM,FOR HIS SUSTAINING GRACE IN OUR DAILY WALK, THAT THOUGH WE ARE FLESH & BLOOD AND NOT MEN OF STEEL...WE COULD TRULY BE OURSELVES,WITH ALL OUR LIMITATIONS,WE COULD BE VERY HUMAN,WITHOUT MASKS OF LIES BUT STILL PLEASE GOD AS WE OFFER OURSELVES AS LIVING SACRIFICES FOR HIS GREATER GLORY IN OUR LIVES...

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. THE INCOMPARABLE
CHRIST
JESUS CHRIST
The one person who has impacted
the world more than anyone else
God Himself who chose to come
to earth and live in a human body
3. For you know the grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ, that though
he was rich, yet for your sakes
he became poor, so that you
through his poverty might
become rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9
4. Since the children have flesh and
blood, he too shared in their
humanity so that by his death he
might destroy him who holds the
power of death—that is, the devil—
and free those who all their lives
were held in slavery by their fear of
death.
Hebrews 2:14-15
5. JESUS IS GOD
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with
God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a
servant, being made in human
likeness.
Philippians 2:6-7
6. JESUS IS HUMBLE
13 You said in your heart,
"I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of
assembly, on the utmost heights of the
sacred mountain.
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.
Isaiah 14:13-14
7. For everyone who
exalts himself will be
humbled, and he who
humbles himself will be
exalted.
Luke 14:11
8. Jesus humbled Himself to
the point of dying on the
cross among thieves.
That’s is why God exalted
Him to the highest place
and gave Him the name
that is above every name
(Philippians 2:8-9)
9. JESUS IS THE
WORD MADE FLESH
Beyond all question,
the mystery of godliness
is great: He appeared in a
body.
1 Timothy 3:16a
11. If Jesus is God Himself, then it is
worth getting to know Him and making
Him known because, as Scripture
says:
For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the
LORD. But whoever fails to find me
harms himself; all who hate
me love death.”
Proverbs 8:35-36
12. He is the image of the invisible
God, the firstborn over all creation.
For by him all things were created:
things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones
or powers or rulers or authorities; all
things were created by him and for
him. He is before all things, and in
him all things hold together.
Colossians 1:15-17
13. THE POWER OF
REDEMPTION
The redemptive work was
all done on Calvary’s
Cross, and each aspect of
the crucifixion teaches us
great lessons.
14. THE CROSS: THE
CANCELLED CURSE
The Cross was where God took away
our curse so that He could give us
His blessing. All of our sin –
everything bad that we were – came
upon Jesus on the Cross. Everything
good that Jesus was, was passed on
to us through faith in Him.
15. I have been crucified with
Christ and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me. The
life I live in the body, I live by
faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave himself
for me.
Galatians 2:20
16. THE CROWN OF THORNS:
FREEDOM FROM RUIN AND
OPPRESSION
"Cursed is the ground because of
you; - Genesis 3:17-18
Thorns and thistles represent ruin.
Jesus took upon His head the
terrible oppression that had whipped
and beaten and oppressed mankind
for so long
17. THE WHIPPING OF HIS
BACK: OUR HEALING
All disease, all pain, no matter how
great or how serious it may be, was all
cancelled upon the back of Jesus when
he was whipped and scourged.
..and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
18. THE NAILS:
OUR FREEDOM
After taking off all of Jesus’ clothes,
those who crucified Him hung Him on a
tree (the Cross). They opened His arms
and nailed each of His hands to the
Cross with sharp, cutting nails. Putting
both of His feet together, they
hammered in the third nail. Each one of
these nails has a very important
meaning.
19. NAIL 1: FREEDOM
FROM GUILT
All the guilt that was upon your life,
which would have taken you to
eternal condemnation, was erased at
the Cross of Calvary. There is no
longer any need for you to feel
guilty; with the first nail, Jesus took
away the curse of guilt.
20. NAIL 2: CANCELED
ACCUSATIONS AND
ARGUMENTS
ARGUMENT
A legal right that you give to the
adversary (the devil)
Formed by curses inherited from
one’s own family and through words
spoken by the parents – words that
leave a mark on their children’s lives.
21. “…having canceled the
written code, with its
regulations, that was against
us and that stood opposed to
us; he took it away, nailing it
to the cross.
Colossians 2:14
22. NAIL 3: VICTORY
OVER OPPRESSION
This nail was hammered into the
part of the heel under the ankle.
Jesus had put His weight on this
nail and get on His toes so that
he could inhale, because His
chest was extremely
compressed. Because this effort
always caused a sharper, more
intense pain to the tendon of the
leg, simple breathing was
agonizing for Him. But, His
suffering provided total victory
for us and we no longer need to
live under oppression.
23. THE SPEAR:
INNER HEALING
JESUS suffered such agony on the
Cross that His sensitive heart
exploded. And Jesus is telling you “
My son, my daughter, my heart
exploded so that yours could be
healed and your emotions restored.”
24. When God looks at us, He
looks at us through Jesus,
and when we desire to
communicate with the Father,
we should do that through
Jesus.
25. KEY PRINCIPLES TO
REMEMBER
Eternal life is received when Jesus is
received as Savior
He who believes that Jesus has redeemed
him is freed from all oppression (Col.
2:14-15)
26. The financial curse was
canceled when Jesus wore the
crown of thorns (2 Cor. 8:9).
Faith in Jesus restores
families (Malachi 4:6)
Only Jesus can free us from
the curse (Gal. 3:13).
27. Because of the love of the
Father and through the blood
of Christ we were made free
(1 Peter 1:2)
Jesus became man and, out
of obedience, He accepted
death upon the Cross, which
was a great humiliation.
28. Starting today, make
a decision to:
Give Jesus your weaknesses so he
can take them upon himself.
Receive his strength in your life.
Give up your sins through
repentance, which is the doorway
to His blessing. Receive His
salvation.
29. Give up all sickness. Receive His
health.
Give up all you lack. Receive His
provision.
Give up all anguish. Receive His
perfect peace.
Surrender your whole will. Receive
the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Give up your human knowledge.
Receive His divine wisdom.
30. Trust completely in the grace of the
Lord Jesus Christ.
“I can do everything
through him who gives me
strength.”
Philippians 4:13
31. Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT)
6 And now, just as you accepted
Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must
continue to live in obedience to him.
7 Let your roots grow down into him
and draw up nourishment from him,
so you will grow in faith, strong and
vigorous in the truth you were taught.
Let your lives overflow with
thanksgiving for all he has done.
