1. When will we (Christians) be raised; before, during or after the Tabulation recorded in the book of
Revelation?
1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 54
“51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead
will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the
imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come
to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.””
And in Revelation 20:11-13
“11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled
away, and no place was found for them.
12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then
another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in
the books, according to what they had done.
13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them,
and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.
14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.”
Since “the Death” only will be swallowed up at the time of the Great White Throne Judgment Time, the
timeline of the body changing into imperishable should be at the Judgment of the Great White Throne.
Also in Revelation 20:4-5, 7-9 (Millennium period; the saints ruling the world with Jesus)
“4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed.
Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of
God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their
foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first
resurrection.”
7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison
8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to
gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.

2. 9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the
beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them,”
(1) Only the saints who died for testifying for Jesus and God or those who did not worship the beast
or rejecting of putting the mark on their bodies will reign with Christ in the Millennium period.
(2) The “people” at the Millennium time period will still have perishable bodies since it recorded in
20:8 that Satan will gather a huge army and try to conquer the cities of the saints but failed.
(3) As re-read the Bible verses mentioned above, the “last trumpet” in 1 Corinthians 15:52 might
not be the “trumpet that the seventh angle blew” recorded in Revelation 11:15 as I previously
recognized.
With all the observation above, let’s combine it with 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
“16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an
archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
Lord in the air”
It can be concluded as follows:
Our bodies will be transformed (become imperishable) and we will be lift into the sky to meet with the
Lord after the Millennium time period as described in 1 Corinthians 15:51.
“Ordinary Christians”; as majority of us today (who did not die for God by testifying for HIS word), will be
risen after the Millennium period, at the time of the judgment of the Great White Throne.
And the “ordinary Christians” will not be able to rule the world with Jesus as the saints do for a thousand
years as what we are taught today.
