1. Luke
"23and inHades, beingintorment, he lifteduphiseyes and saw Abraham faroff andLazarus at his
side.
24And he called out,‘FatherAbraham, have mercyon me,and sendLazarus to dip the endof his finger
in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish inthis flame."
Afterdeath,we all will be inHades. The goodoneswill goto Paradise, andthe badonesgo to torment.
From 16:223=4, in Hadescertainformof "body"still existsforeachof usand the feelingalsoexists;cool
my tongue andanguishinthe flame (meansthe existenceof soul).
In Revelation20:13
"Andthe sea gave up the deadwhichwere init; and death and Hadesdeliveredupthe dead which
were inthem:and theywere judgedeverymanaccordingto theirworks"
The sea gave up the dead; because Jewsdidnothave anyprocedure tohandle these peoplewho
"disappeared”inthe sea.Theirbodieswere notburiedproperlyandtheirsoulsmaynotbe inthe proper
place (Hades).
Death and the Hades deliveredthe dead;some explanationtreatsthatthe deathcontrolsthe
corruptible bodiesandHadescontrolsthe soulsforthe dead.Andinthe White Throne judgmentboth
bodiesandthe soul of all the deadwill be unitedandfacingGod'sjudgment.
However,Human'sdeathalsomeansthe separationof ourspiritswithGod.Therefore,deathshouldnot
onlymeansthe "controlsthe physical bodiesof the dead"inhere.Betterexplanationshouldbe that
"deadand the Hades"representsthe completecontrol of deliveryof one'sdeath;spirit, soul and
spiritual body,toGodto face HIS White Throne Judgment.
MatthewPoole'sCommentary

In Hades, the bad ones’soul and spiritual bodieswill be in torment. Their corrupted spiritsshouldbe
under the control of the death.
