This document discusses who can be considered servants of God based on passages from Revelation and Ephesians. It argues that only Christians who follow Jesus as their head and do God's will from the heart can be called servants of God, not those who call themselves servants. True servants will be raised by the Holy Spirit, seated with Christ, and reign as kings in heaven and earth. The parable of the ten virgins is used to illustrate that not all Christians who receive the Holy Spirit are true servants accepted by God, and that being a servant requires paying the price to remove self and receive God's grace.

1. Call us HIS servants, we or HE?
In Revelation 20:3 and 5 (ESV)
“3 No longer will there be anything accursed, butthe throne of God and of the
Lamb will be in it, and his servants willworship him.
5 And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord
God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.”
There are severalcommon questions that we can have in here which are:
(1)Who are “they”?
(2)Will all people whosenames are in the book of life be the kings in New
HEAVEN and EARTH?
(3)If so, will there be many many one-man kings then; only ruling him/herself?
The key word to resolvethis puzzleis “his servants”
It is “We calledourselves HIS servants”or “HEcall us HIS Servants”???
Therefore, Let us find “who is /can be HIS servant(fromHIS eyes)?”
Ephesians
1:20 “that he worked in Christwhen he raised him fromthe dead and seated him
at his right hand in the heavenly places,”
2:6 “and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in
Christ Jesus,”
“But as Bengel notices, Paul pauses here and does not add the ἐν δεξιᾷ αὐτοῦ
which is said of Christin Ephesians 1:20—ἐν ΧριστῷἸησοῦ: in Christ Jesus. Not the
συνεκάθισεν only, butthe whole statement is qualified by this. This quickening,
this resurrection, this seating of us withHim take effect in so far as we are inHim
as our Representative, having our life and our completeness inour Head.”

2. In Ephesians 6:6 (ASV)
“not in the way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing
the will of God from the heart,”
“Servant of Christ”is the one who followthe will of God (on him/her) from
one’s heart. That means following Jesus as our HEAD.
Two types of Christians inNewHeavenand Earth, being savedonly or reign(to
be king);
the difference of being raised(sealedby Holy Spirit) and being seatedwithHIM
(to be king)
Only these Christians will be takenby God as HIS Servants (not we called
ourselves HIS Servants) andbeing reigned (being seatedonby HIS right hand) to
be kings.
Being a servant (slave) of God
Matthew 25 1-13 “The Parableof the Ten Virgins”
“1. Then the kingdomof heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and
went to meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the
wisetook flasks of oil with their lamps.
5 As the bridegroomwas delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.
6 But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Hereis the bridegroom!Come out to meet
him.’
7 Then all thosevirgins roseand trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Giveus someof your oil, for our lamps are
going out.’

3. 9 But the wiseanswered, saying, ‘Sincethere will not be enough for us and for
you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’
10 And while they were going to buy, the bridegroomcame, and those who were
ready went in with him to the marriagefeast, and the door was shut.
11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’
12 But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.”
Several points needed to be mentioned in here:
(1)Oil can means the HIS Graceor (the fulfillment of) the Holy Spirit (Zechariah
4:12-14).
(2)Servants need to “BUY” oil fromdealer; need to pay price in order to
receive the oil.
The less “self”inour heart, the more HIS grace (the influence of the Holy
Spirit inside us) canbe added intothe cap of the lamp in our heart.
However, inorder to remove portionof “self”fromour heart, needto pay
price and more importantly needtopray God to give us the right
occasion, visionfor us to see and strengthfromHIM to correct.
(3)The foolish virgins call HIM“Lord” and the Master does not accept them as
servants;
NOTALL Christians will “become HIS servant”(fromGod’s eye) automatically
after receiving the Holy Spirit intoone’s heart.
