Vodafone publishes annually forty thousand copies of a book as a gift to welcome the new year to its
premium customers. The book should represent the vision of Vodafone and embrace the value of
innovation.
The solution was to design a transmedia publishing experience. A book with an original written and
illustrated content. These Illustrations are enriched by an Augmented Reality app for connecting with
videos that complement the ideas expressed in the book.
The launch event featured an interactive action which reflected concepts, artwork and book ideas and
turned them into an immersive experience. Journalists and Vodafone executives involved approaching a
big screen while the elements of the book around their shadows.
A long tail transmedia experience.

The book should represent the vision of Vodafone and embrace the value of innovation. The solution was to design a transmedia publishing experience. A book with an original written and illustrated content. These Illustrations are enriched by an Augmented Reality app for connecting with videos that complement the ideas expressed in the book. The launch event featured an interactive action which reflected concepts, artwork and book ideas and turned them into an immersive experience.
