An affricate sound is a consonant sound that is a combination of a plosive sound followed immediately by a fricative sound produced with the same articulators. There are two affricate sounds in English: /tʃ/ as in "chip" and /dʒ/ as in "judge". Both involve an initial plosive sound (/t/ or /d/) followed by a fricative sound produced in the post-alveolar region. For a sound to be considered an affricate, the plosive and fricative components must be homorganic or use the same place of articulation in the vocal tract.

The English vowel system is determined by the position of the lips, tongue, and palate. Vowels are produced without obstruction to airflow from the lungs. Their sounds are created by subtle changes in the shape of the vocal tract. For example, the vowel sound /i:/ as in "bean" is made with the tongue raised towards the roof of the mouth, while /u:/ as in "boon" has the back of the tongue raised. Vowels also differ based on lip rounding and length.

A phoneme is the smallest meaningful sound unit that distinguishes word meanings. Generative phonology assigns phonetic representations to utterances based on a speaker's internal grammar. How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
