Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.
John 3:1-5. A New Life In Christ. In the new life we have been born again. In the new life we are a new creation. In the new life we crucify the flesh with its passions and desires. In the new life we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. In the new life we are renewed by the Holy Spirit. In the new life we are dead to sin but alive to God. In the new life we are washed from our sins. in the new life we put to death the old man and put on the new man. In the new life we died and our life is hidden with Christ in God. In the new life we were brought back from death in sin.

Repentance In Christian Conversion
Repentance is an act by which we realise we have offended an Holy and righteous God; this act is characterised by a deliberate turn away from the sinful act(s) in question, begging for God’s forgiveness and turning to him and his ways. Repentance is also that window that opens for us to see what we are called to; this being that, we are to represent God’s living and working in human life; how the effects of sin’s offensive attack on God defeats this purpose and how it can be remedied by means of the lordship of God’s Spirit over man’s spirit, soul and body.

A brief look at a figurative description of God sitting on His throne in heaven followed by a brief description of what is required for us to have fellowship with this eternal life.
1 Cor. 1:9-10 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Psalm 32:5-6: Since God knows our sin, why does he desire that we confess our sins. He is like a parent, who wants a child to return. Confessing helps us to face the reality of our sin, make real changes, it liberates us from our past sins and reminds us that He is faithful.

“The Nature of Saving FAITH” (2)— (Romans 3:19-5:5) In Romans 4 Paul is contrasting two opposing SYSTEMS, “FAITH & WORKS.” The “works” system cannot save a sinner because it demands perfection - and no amount of work can undo the sinners sin. The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

28. 27 Again, when a wicked man
turns away from the wickedness
which he committed, and does
what is lawful and right, he
preserves himself alive. 28
Because he considers and turns
away from all the transgressions
which he committed, he shall
surely live; he shall not die.
Ezekiel 18:27–32 (NKJV)
29. 29 Yet the house of Israel says,
‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O
house of Israel, is it not My ways
which are fair, and your ways which
are not fair? 30 “Therefore I will
judge you, O house of Israel, every
one according to his ways,” says
the Lord God. “Repent, and turn
from all your transgressions, so
that iniquity will not be your ruin.
Ezekiel 18:27–32 (NKJV)
30. 31 Cast away from you all the
transgressions which you have
committed, and get yourselves
a new heart and a new spirit.
For why should you die, O
house of Israel? 32 For I have no
pleasure in the death of one
who dies,” says the Lord God.
“Therefore turn and live!”
Ezekiel 18:27–32 (NKJV)
