Law can be defined in several ways depending on perspective. From a societal perspective, law means justice, morality, and order. From a judge's perspective, law refers to rules of the court, decrees, judgments, and injunctions. Broadly, law includes acts, statutes, regulations, orders, torts, legal theory and more. Laws are categorized as international law between nations, or municipal/national law within a nation. Municipal law is further divided into public law such as constitutional, administrative, and criminal law, and private law involving persons, property, obligations, and conflict of laws.
