I am a graduate of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka and I have read English, French and Economics for my degree. I have also read for a postgraduate degree in International Relations (Subjects: International Law, International Relations, International Politics, Comparative Political Science, Conflict and Peace Studies and Sri Lanka in World Affairs). I am a veteran journalist and I have worked in three mainstream newspapers in Sri Lanka; 'The Island', 'Sunday Observer' and 'The nation' as a News Reporter, Feature Writer and Senior Sub-editor.
