Hyper-V & Clustering
A Great Teacher
Adeel was very diligent in
spending time with me to make
sure I had a good understanding
of Virtualization & Clustering.
Week One Server-Side
Help Desk Shadow
Spent first three days getting an
overview of how end-user
computing operates globally.
The fact that Energizer is run
globally from such a small
location was amazing to see!
Agenda Plans 1-6 6-12 Fin
I was introduced and given the
opportunity to monitor the creation
and organization of the ISO Series
Information Security Framework
currently being implemented
throughout the organization. I was
tasked to ensure that all Standards,
Polices, and Procedures were updated
on the SharePoint Control site created
by Jay Kladiva.

Hands on Experience
Working with the infrastructure team , I
was given the opportunity to have more
of a hands experience than I ever had. My
degree program had not supplied us with
a decent lab experience, so this was more
than I ever could have asked for.
Adeel was a fantastic teacher. He not
only guided me through the creation
process of virtual machines using the
Integrated-Lights-Out process, but also
made sure to break down every step in
an extremely detailed and visual
manor.
First Experience with ILO
ILO troubleshooting
Week Two Server-Side
While attempting to
created virtual machines
through the Integrated-
Lights-Out method, we
encountered issues. We
then installed IOS on a
USB and installed directly
on a test server in the
Datacenter.

• My Takeaways
– Working with the IT team at Energizer over the past 3 months has been the best educational
experience I have received thus far. Having the opportunity to get a real hands on experience
with the Networking, Infrastructure, Information Security, and End User Support teams has
given me a greater understanding of what should be expected from any IT department.
– Working with all facets of the team has taught me a great deal about how all functions work both
independently and collectively to make corporations thrive.
• Next Steps
– After I graduate school in December, I would like to pursue a position here at Energizer.
– The culture of this corporation was my first inquiry during my initial interview, and all the
information I was given was 100% true. I love the environment, the people, and Energizer’s goals
for the future.
– I want to continue learning everything I can about IT and computer science. I believe this is the
best environment for me to do that.
• Thank You
– Lastly, I want to thank all of you for this opportunity. You have opened my eyes to the
expectations and hard work that is necessary to pursue my passion. This has been the best work
experience I have ever received.

I love the environment, the people, and Energizer’s goals for the future. – I want to continue learning everything I can about IT and computer science. I believe this is the best environment for me to do that. • Thank You – Lastly, I want to thank all of you for this opportunity. You have opened my eyes to the expectations and hard work that is necessary to pursue my passion. This has been the best work experience I have ever received.
