Mijn presentatie gegeven op puberMKB innovatiebijeenkomst. Gaat over de structuur van interne innovatie en wat wel en niet te doen daarbij. Veel praktijkvoorbeelden heb ik er juist bij verteld. De beide oefeningen in de presentatie zijn:
1. Schrijf vanuit jouw hart allerlei begrippen op die bij jou opkomen (zonder daarover na te denken) als je aan een probleem denkt dat je nu hebt.
2. Kijk hoe je het probleem nog veel erger kunt maken, schrijf op wat er in jou opkomt. Maak er daarna het tegengestelde van.
Bij de meeste ondernemers in de zaal kwamen er spontaan nieuwe oplossingsrichtingen op. Moraal van het verhaal: oordeel niet direct met ja-maar op ideeen, maar waardeer elk idee in eerste instantie hoe het is. Anders mis je teveel. Ik pas deze oefeningen vaak zelf ook toe bij probleemoplossing.
De eerstvolgende echte check is het idee te relateren aan de organisatiedoelen (daar komt pas de eerste terechte ja-maar). Ideeen die niet in lijn liggen met de organisatiedoelen zouden mijns inziens niet binnen de organisatie uitgevoerd moeten worden.
Pas na deze fase ga je het idee concretiseren naar een businesscase (en eventueel afkeuren of uitvoeren).
