1. How is mastery of skills assessed at WeLearn
Academy?
Every Project Based Learning (PBL) topic or course is
anchored to a set of skills and competencies that
defines the overarching 7 Future Skills of a ‘WeLearner
Persona’.
This represents the qualities and skills a WeLearn
Academy learner will master in our program.
These competencies are categorized into three major
groups:
Literacy Skills
Soft Skills
Hard Skills
These skills are broken down into standards or
expected learning outcomes that every student should
demonstrate evidences of mastery.
In the Mastery Transcript (MTC), learners will be
awarded mastery credits in each area of learning
through time. They will also be able to upload portfolio
evidences of their learning in the digital platform.
