2. Identity
I believe in working smart not working hard as they say. Coming from NY I grew up in a very fast
paced impulsive life style. Moving to FL I have dialed that back and learned to relax and not be so
impulsive. I do a lot of research into things before I get involved and more once I am involved to
make sure I am educated enough to make smart decisions. I am dedicated and all in when I
believe in something. I never quit something once I have started it but I will walk away after it is
completed if I don’t feel it is bene
fi
cial.
3. Profession
Even though growing up playing sports led me to my major Sports Marketing and Media, my ideal
occupation would be content creator, video game designer, special effects artist or animator. I am
very good at breaking down codes quickly and playing video games for a living would be where
my heart would be.
The Creator archetype gives new ideas to the world and creates structure by bringing something
that didn't previously exist into being, it is also driven by the free
fl
ow of creativity–while also
staying within certain parameters of control.
4. Target Audience
Recruiters and HR director for Social media markets
such as TikTok or Instagram and Disney corporations.
EA sports and Activision are some of the gaming
companies I would also want to work with. I
fi
nd I will
be able to reach out to an audience of 20-35yr olds
that are interested in imagination and creative talents.
I plan to email HR directors listed for the above
companies and include what I know about their
company and what my strengths are for being
successful in the position. Including a video blog or
vlog I also think will give the recruiters or HR directors
a sense of my dedication and how I can become an
asset to their mission statement.
5. Career Goals
Three of my top career goals I plan to achieve are increasing my knowledge of the profession. This will
be over the course of my entire career because every day is a new learning experience. You can
never have enough education. I look to
fi
nd
fi
nancial stability by eventually earning a leadership role
within the companies within the
fi
rst 5-10yrs. I state this range of time because I plan to earn new roles
higher and higher throughout the years. I don’t plan on stopping until all my goals within the company
are reached. I also hope to bring to the table new ideas to expand not only the audience but the
product.
By 2032, I plan to be as high on the corporate ladder as the CEO.
By 2042, to be a successful owner and developer of my own company within the industry.
6. Skills Analysis
I am a dedicated individual and like to break down codes to
fi
nd the “easter eggs” of the software.
I would say this would help to make any software more interesting to the gamer. However, when it
comes to computer programming and design I have a lot to learn but de
fi
nitely willing to learn. I
have a great imagination and I am very creative. Even though I am dedicated, creative and
imaginative I do have to build my con
fi
dence in areas of communication to become successful in
my goals.
7. Promise
I will make sure I am dedicated to your mission statement to your need of a genuine product.
8. Credentials
Soon to be Full Sail University graduate with a bachelors in Sports Marketing and Media that
will cover business. I have been a mentor to new players and growing players within my time
playing baseball, whether in the community, little league or school. I have plans on reaching
out for internships within the industry while still earning my degree to build my knowledge and
prepare myself for any role within the industry.
9. Competition
Time Washington is a content creator at
YouTube. She has 62 followers. She has been
with YouTube from Jan 2017-present, prior to
that she was with Amazon as an audit
manager for 8 months. She has an associates
degree from Southwest Tennesee Community
College in Business Administration and
Management. Her skills range through digital
marketing, digital strategy and customer
service all within YouTube.
I am Paul Weick a student at Full Sail
University. I am studying for my bachelors
degree in Sports Marketing and Media. I
would like to expand my education to content
creator and gaming software. I don’t have any
work experience at this time and I am not
established on social media. I have skills in
gaming and sports. I have developed
knowledge and experience of both by
participating and researching to become
better at what I have been passionate about.
10. Brand Position
I build my brand on honesty, dedication, creativity and genuine education. I plan on building a
brand that not only can be trusted but known for quality based on the above.
I
fi
nd that by being a listener and not rigid in thought I can build quality. Allowing others ideas to
re
fl
ect in the brand can only make it stronger to any audience. By being a listener I can
incorporate what has been working with the creativity and want of the audience to make the
product more successful. To be successful doesn’t mean you have to scrap the original building
blocks.
11. Networking & Marketing
MegaCon Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL from March 30-April 2, 2023, Fan Expo Dallas at
the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, Philidelphia, PA from June 9-11, 2023, and CoMo Retro Game Convention
at the Stoney Creek Hotel Columbia, Columbia MO on April 22, 2023 are three events I plan to attend . I also plan to join
OpTic Gaming.
I plan on marketing software for new innovative games that special needs players can
fi
nd challenging but at the same
time have easter eggs to help them succeed in completing the challenges within each level. I will use social media such
as Facebook groups that target these audiences and Sports outlets that will reach challenged individuals who will bene
fi
t
and enjoy these type of games. They will be the same games as anyone else will play just with the easter eggs I
mentioned before to help the player use their thinking process to succeed.
My digital portfolio will contain prototypes of the games to demonstrate the ability of anyone being able to enjoy the game.
12. Professional Development
While pursuing my education at Full Sail University I plan on applying for internships
within companies that I can partner with for further education and experience within the
industry. Being dedicated to my craft I will further education in computer programming
and design. I will look for mentors that are willing to take me under their wing and build
their success by creating my success. I will learn communication skills with the target
audience as well as other content developers and marketers.
13. Elevator Pitch
I'm a Full Sail University student majoring in
Sports Marketing and Media. I am interested in
broadening my creativity into the software
industry with a sports video game geared to
special needs individuals.
We are all individuals that learn and process
information at different levels. No one wants to
be left out of the popular movement. Video
gaming is included in this. The software I
developed allows for easter eggs to reach out
to each level of understanding to move you
further through the game at your own pace
regardless of your processing abilities but
having the same end result as everyone else.
