This document provides instructions for a weekly news report assignment for a speaking and listening course. Students must watch, listen to, or read the news from acceptable sources once a week. They will then create a 1-2 minute recorded segment summarizing a current event, answering who, what, where, when, why, and how. Students will be assigned different news subjects each week and must dress business casual for recordings. Their reports will be played in class and assessed by the instructor and peers.
