 products or services over the Internet.

 and technical aspects of the Internet.

 In 1994, spending for internet marketing totaled
  nearly nothing, but increased to over $300 million in
  1995.
 The Internet became increasingly popular in the late
  1990s, and the viability of the Internet as a marketing
  medium emerged as more than mere speculation.
 Even technology industry giants like IBM Corp. and
  Microsoft Corp. began dumping millions of dollars
  into Internet marketing efforts.
