- A VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to navigate slides and leave comments in 5 ways - using voice (with a mic or telephone), text, audio file, or video (via a webcam). Share a VoiceThread with friends, students, and colleagues for them to record comments too.Users can doodle while commentingand pick which comments are shown through moderation. VoiceThreads can even be embeddedinto websites and VLEs such as moodle to show and receive comments on other websites and exported to MP3 players or DVDs to play as archival movies.
- Wallwisher is an online notice board maker. Great for collaboration, such as when discussing a new idea, project or theme, but also great for taking notes or giving feedback, voicing opinion or even just wishing a happy birthday. No user registration or account required, just click, write and post. Add images, music, video and pages. Just like a real notice board where you can drag, drop or rearrange Post-its. Like VoiceThread, Walls can be embedded into moodle, websites, blogs via HTML embed code
- Xtranormal’smission is ‘to bring movie-making to the people’. Everyone watches movies so Xtranormal believe everyone can make movies. Movie-making, short and long, online and on-screen, private and public, will be the most important communications process of the 21st century.Their revolutionary approach to movie-making builds on an almost universally held skill—typing. You type something; they turn it into a movie. The movies can be embedded via HTML code or uploaded to film hosting sites such as YouTube
- Presentations have not evolved much in the 50 years since the slide was invented, but Prezi is changing that. Prezi lets you bring your ideas into one space and see how they relate, helping you and your audience connect. Zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to see details — a bit like web-based maps that have changed how we navigate through map books.
