This document discusses how technology can be used to address gender-based violence. It describes platforms like Ushahidi and OpenStreetMap that were used for crisis response after the 2010 Haiti earthquake. A Haitian-built platform called Noula.ht allows people to file reports about gender-based violence via SMS, phone calls or in-person, which are then routed to appropriate responders.
