 The castle was founded in the second half of the 13th
century to defend the southern approach to the Central
Slovak mining towns.

 In Levice we have the new square since October last year.
Compared to the old square this is almost a luxury. There are
many fountains and benches. Its a nice place located near shop
centre Dituria. This gets many positive reactions from local and
visiting guests.

Milan Rastislav Štefánik was a Slovak politician,
diplomat, and astronomer.
During World War I, he served as a General in the
French Army and, at the same time, as the
Czechoslovak Minister of War.
As one of the leading members of the Czechoslovak
National Council, he contributed decisively to the
cause of Czechoslovak sovereignty.
Štefánik's personal motto was: To Believe, To Love
and To Work

The Romanesque church in Kalinčiakovo is the most
significant building in the village of Kalinčiakovo.
It is a Reformed chapel, originally built in the 12th
century in the Romanesque style.

City Park Levice consists of new and old parts.
 The new part of the lever with a fountain, small
lake, climbing frames for children and restaurants ..
City Park is located in the city center and is the
relaxing part. It's quite crowded with people, and
used primarily in the summer.

This year in Levice was built a city park. There are

Its located between two big shops Tesco and
