Walt Disney was an American animator, entrepreneur, voice actor and film producer born in 1901 who founded The Walt Disney Company. He had a love of drawing from an early age and worked as a cartoonist before founding his own animation studio in his uncle's garage where he created iconic characters like Mickey Mouse. Some of his biggest achievements and most successful films included Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Dumbo, and Alice in Wonderland. He expanded his business into theme parks like Disneyland and Walt Disney World which generated billions in revenue and brought him great honors like 22 Academy Awards before his death from lung cancer in 1966 at age 65.
