This document discusses VSCO and how it is used by millennials for travel photography. VSCO is a photography software and online art gallery that allows users to take, edit, and share photos. The document outlines previous research on travel photography, social media, and how millennials use technology when traveling. It then describes plans to analyze the characteristics of photos shared on VSCO with specific destination tags to understand what locations and scenery motivate users to photograph and share during their travels. Preliminary findings found that many photos from a sample of top posts included destination tags and were of cityscapes or places in the United States. The analysis may provide insights into how VSCO has redefined mobile photography for travelers.
