What is VoiceThread?
A VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos
and allows people to navigate slides and leave comments in 5 ways - using voice (with a mic or
telephone), text, audio file, or video (via a webcam). A person can share a VoiceThread with
friends, students, and colleagues, and alternatively, they are able to record comments too on the
slides.
How do I create a VoiceThread?
Step # 1:
Register for a new VoiceThread account

2. Step # 2: Fill out the form and click on Register
Step # 3: Sign in

3. Step # 4: Click the Create button located on the black menu bar on VoiceThread's homepage.

4. Step # 5: Click on the icon +Add Media.
Step # 6: Choose the option Webcam Video o Grabar video.

5. Step # 7: Allow access to webcam and microphone.
Step # 8: Record your video

6. Step # 9: Save and share your video.
Step # 10: Before copying the link to your video, remember to allow anyone to view and comment
on your video.

7. Step # 11: Once you have copied the link to your computer's clipboard, now you can paste it into a Word
document.
Step # 12: Send a document with the link to your video to your English teacher using “Mail Interno”. Add
the following information.
