Vocabulary is an important skill for children to learn. While vocabulary may seem boring, learning new words allows children to better express themselves. As teachers, it's important to teach everyday vocabulary related to things like animals, flowers, and colors that children will use regularly rather than focusing on overly difficult words. The goal is to make vocabulary learning a comfortable part of children's everyday environment.

2.  The vocabulary is one of the mainly skills
that children should learn.
 Sometimes we think is boring. But not!
 Why not?
 Then we look inside… .

3.  On the one hand vocabulary is not really
boring at all because thanks for it we can
learn words to express what we want to say.
 What about every day vocabulary?
 Do you know these words?
 Pimker, Can, Tin, Sauce Pan, Steering Wheel,
Foglights… .

4.  Not always we have to be the bests at learning
and sharing our vocabulary, even though we
have to be improving every day.
 For insatnce, what would happen if a teacher
had to read a text about a platypus and
doesn’t know what is that?

5.  To finish, as a pre-school teacher I want to say
that we have to learn some words related to
animals, flowers and colours. Yet we don’t
have to put much effort in learning such a
difficult vocabulary to get the level of
proficiency. I mean, we have to learn the
vocabulary that we will use in our every day
enviroment to turn it in a comfort zone.
