Culture, Nature and Sustainable Tourism Development: a space-time analysis on...João Romão
Despite the close relation between tourism and the territory, the application of spatial analysis methods in tourism is not abundant in the literature.
The recent developments in the analysis of space-time models, the existence of geo-referenced information and the availability of suitable software tools create new opportunities for studying the role of space in tourism activities.
An exploratory spatial data analysis is developed and a space-time panel model is computed in this work in order to analyse the relations between tourism demand and the existence of infrastructures, cultural assets and natural resources in European regions,
Spatial effects have been clearly identified.

Ramakrishna Mission Empowering Lives Through Education.pdfAmit Kumar
The passing of Swami Smarananda, the 16th president of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, marks a profound loss for the spiritual community. A life dedicated to service and the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Smarananda exemplified the Mission's core values of compassion, wisdom, and selfless action. His lifelong commitment to the publications at Advaita Ashrama and his leadership at institutions including the Ramakrishna Mission Saradapitha underscore his unwavering dedication to education and spiritual growth. As we honour his legacy, we also celebrate the enduring spirit of the Ramakrishna Mission. Founded in 1897 by Swami Vivekananda, the Mission has expanded globally, bringing the message of Vedanta philosophy and practical spirituality to countless lives. This article explores the history, work, and enduring impact of the Ramakrishna Mission.
Ramakrishna Mission - Branches and Locations
The Ramakrishna Mission has spread its message of spirituality and service around the world. With over 200 centers worldwide, its reach extends from bustling cities to remote rural communities. Each center is a hub of diverse activities, embodying Swami Vivekananda's vision of practical Vedanta. Centers may include temples, educational institutions, hospitals, rural development centers, and cultural centers. This global network reflects the Mission's commitment to spiritual growth, education, and selfless service across cultural boundaries.
Examples of Prominent Centers:
• India: The Mission's presence is strong in its homeland, with Math and Ashrama centers in cities like Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai along with smaller centers in various towns and villages.
• United States: The Vedanta Society of New York, founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1898, and over 20 other centers spread throughout the country.
• Global Presence: Centers in Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and many other nations.
The Ramakrishna Mission thoughtfully adapts its activities to the local needs of each region, demonstrating sensitivity to the prevailing cultural context. However, a common thread unites all centres: the dedication to uplifting humanity through spiritual growth, education, and selfless service.
Ramakrishna Mission - Education & Admissions
The Ramakrishna Mission believes in nurturing the whole person: intellect, heart, and spirit. This holistic approach to education is inspired by Swami Vivekananda's teachings. He envisioned education as a means to empower individuals to serve society with compassion and selflessness. His words, "Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man," form the cornerstone of the Mission's educational philosophy.
The Mission operates a vast network of educational institutions across India, offering quality education from primary to postgraduate levels. These institutions blend modern education with spiritual values..

Kalpataru Diwas : The day of Sri RamaKrishna Paramhansa's Self-RevelationVivekananda Kendra
"'I shall make the whole thing public before I go,' the Master has said some time before. On January 1, 1886, he felt better and came down to the garden for a little stroll. It was about three o'clock in the afternoon. Some thirty lay disciples were in the hall or sitting about under the trees. Sri Ramakrishna said to Girish (Ghosh), 'Well Girish, what have you seen in me, that you proclaim me before everybody as an Incarnation of God?' Girish was not the man to be taken by surprise. He knelt before the Master and said with folded hands, 'What can an insignificant person like myself say about the One whose glory even sages like Vyasa and Valmiki could not adequately measure?' The Master was profoundly moved. He said: 'What more shall I say? I bless you all. Be illumined!' He fell into a spiritual mood. Hearing these words the devotees, one and all, became overwhelmed with emotion. They rushed to him and fell at his feet. He touched them all, and each received an appropriate benediction. Each of them, at the touch of the Master, experienced ineffable bliss. Some laughed, some wept, some sat down to meditate, some began to pray. Some saw light, some had visions of their Chosen Ideals, and some felt within their bodies the rush of spiritual power."
From the Introduction to THE GOSPEL OF SRI RAMAKRISHNA,
by Swami Nikhilananda
==========================
"Those words words of profound blessing, untouched by the slightest tinge of selfishness, directly entered the devotees' hearts where they raised high billows of bliss. They forgot time and space, forgot the disease of the Master and forgot their previous determination not to touch him till he recovered, and had the immediate feeling that sympathizing with their misery, and heart overflowing with compassion, had come down to them from heaven and called them affectionately to Him for protection, like a mother sheltering her children against all ills."
From SRI RAMAKRISHNA, THE GREAT MASTER
by Swami Saradananda

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
