This document summarizes an urban design project focused on the regeneration of Hackney, London. The key goals of the project were to:
1) Maximize opportunities for social, physical, and economic regeneration in Hackney presented by events like the Olympics and infrastructure improvements.
2) Deliver significant, visible, and sustainable improvements to Hackney's environment through initiatives like the "Keep Hackney Clean" campaign.
3) Provide a high quality, accessible public realm and well-built environment throughout the borough.

“I’m trying to discover – invent, I suppose an architecture, and forms of urban planning, that do something of the same things in a contemporary way. I started out of trying to create buildings that would sparkle like isolated jewels; now I want them to connect, to form a new kind of landscape, to flow together with contemporary cities and the lives of their peoples”

Site planning in Architectural Projects- Principles and ApproachesJIT KUMAR GUPTA
Paper makes an attempt to define the process, elements and principles which should be considered for site planning in the architectural projects. Paper also defines the role and importance of the site planning in planning, designing and making the projects sustainable.
Urban design is concerned with the arrangement, appearance and function of our suburbs, towns and cities. It is both a process and an outcome of creating localities in which people live, engage with each other, and engage with the physical place around them.
It is an assignment on urban design basic factors, whereas a designer should keep in mind in urban designing.
Here I tried to describe factors by pointing as anyone could find a basic concept on urban design. Hope it'll be helpful.
Elements of city planning_Building and Town PlanningA Makwana
All the individual objects that are included in an urban area area the elements of city plan. These objects include residential building, public buildings, parks, factories, roads etc.
Located at 314 N. Cleveland Street, this property covers .25acre and is very close to the Oceanside pier. Our plan is to build a 10-unit, ecovillage condo development. Ecovillages are designed to foster friendly neighbor interaction. The finished project will feature a total of 10 residential units, as well as 2 commercial retail units on the first floor. As well-known green builders, we will pursue the LEED Platinum and BuilditGreen designations on this project, and will include such key features as consideration of natural daylighting, healthy build materials, energy efficiency, water conservation, electric car outlets and improved indoor air quality.

The growth leads to the depletion of natural resources of the planet. One of them is wood. We use unnecessary paper! Too much mess! Beware of CO2 imbalance... The immediate solution to stop destroying forests: dematerialization of exchanges with legal convincing value. Zero paper! The electronic originals are sealed and encrypted in a nominative and communicating electronic safe. The identification of counterparts is made via Magicaxess, a new high tech of identification WITHOUT having to download a digital certificate!

As part of the Space Syntax Methodology and Analytical Design module, students were tasked with applying the techniques learnt throughout term one on a practical project. This year’s project required reviewing a City of London Area Enhancement Strategy and examining the built environment from a macro to a micro scale.
This report considers the notion of ‘urban inclusion,’ focussing particularly on the potential for inclusion through the participation or meaningful involvement of local people in decisions related to transformation within their neighbourhoods and/or wider districts. The aim is to design a strategy for community involvement relating to the development of an area that forms part of the larger site developed between 2006 and 2012 for London’s Olympic Games. Our small site, known as Rick Roberts Way, lies within the London Borough of Newham, along the eastern edge of the Lea Valley and to the south of the main Olympic Park.
Developing the strategy will involve engaging with theory relating to inclusion and participation, and with debates relating to participatory practice in plans for urban change in London and elsewhere and specific techniques for promoting participation in urban design.

Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.

Current research into teaching and learning pedagogy
highlights the importance of ‘informal learning’. learning
occurs as results from unexpected interactions among
individuals can be termed as informal learning. Another
significant aspect of learning is seen in the shift from
individual learning to group learning. However, the
translation of this literature relating informal and group
learning to spatial design is rarely discussed. While
recent studies have recognised that communal and
informal learning spaces are key components of what
has been called the ‘Learning Landscape’, no thorough
study has been undertaken to examine this in urban
design terms.
