 1955 - Eagle Glass Company was established and mirror manufacturing was started
by semi automatic process for first time in Ahmedabad.
 1972 - Asian Mirror Industries was incorporated.
 2006 - Vishvesh Glasses was incorporated by Nilesh Sitlani & Dinesh Sitlani in
Ahmedabad. under guidance of their grandfather Shri Daulatram Sitlani with
experience of 50 years in glass industry.

6. Toughened Glass
 Toughened glass is a type of safety glass processed by
controlled thermal treatments to increase its strength
compared with normal glass.
 When broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead
of splintering into jagged shards as annealed glass creates.
The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury.
 Applications :-
 As a result of its safety and strength, toughened glass is used
in a variety of demanding applications, including windows,
shower doors, architectural glass doors and tables, as a
component of bulletproof glass.

7. Safety Laminated Glass
 Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together
when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by
an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl
acetate (EVA), between its two or more layers of glass. The
interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken,
and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into
large sharp pieces.
 Types of Lamination :- EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate), PVB
(Polyvinyl Butyral), SentryGlas.
 Applications :-
 Laminated glass is normally used when there is a possibility of
human impact or where the glass could fall if shattered and also
for architectural applications. Skylight glazing, Glass Floors, High
Security Glazing and automobile windshields typically use
laminated glass.

8. Back-Painted Glass
 Back painted glass is any form of clear glass that is
painted from the back side and viewed from the front
side, or "first surface" side.
 Back painted glass is a modern alternative to other
surfacing materials such as tiles and laminates in the
world's decorative and architectural industries.
 Applications :-
 Back painted glass is widely used for
architectural spandrel glass, colored glass walls for
interior glazing, colored glass back splashes, glass marker
boards and dry erase boards, colored glass counter
tops, shower walls, artistic glass, and more.

9. Insulated Glass
 Insulated glass (IG), more commonly known as double
glazed units and increasingly triple glazed units is double or
triple glass window panes separated by a vacuum or gas filled
space to reduce heat transfer across a part of the building
envelope.
 The glass panes are separated by a "spacer". A spacer is the
piece that separates the two panes of glass in an insulating
glass system, and seals the gas space between them.
 Applications :-
 Insulating glass is traditionally used at office buildings,
Hospitals, Hotels, Houses and those buildings where large
amount of heating or cooling is required. Those places where
humidity and temperature needs to be controlled, Insulated
glass is best suited for them.

10. Glass Bricks
 Glass brick, also known as glass block, is an architectural
element made from glass. Glass bricks provide visual
obscuration while admitting light.
 Glass bricks are produced for both wall and floor
applications. Glass blocks for use in floors are normally
manufactured as a single solid piece, or as a hollow
glass block with thicker side walls than the standard wall
blocks.
 Applications :-
 Glass Blocks are a versatile building material and can be
used for windows, stairwells, shower screens,
paving, interior and exterior walls - the opportunities are
endless.
