Making of SmartBike India’s Largest Public Bike Sharing
(Journey from 0 - 11000 Bike)
I was heading the start up SmartBike in Delhi & executed the Public Bike Sharing System (PBSS) in Delhi
in Public Private Partnership (PPP) with NDMC & International Partner NextBike GMBH Germany, from
scratch & was looking after all the aspect of a Company, right from Project Planning, CAPEX & OPEX
calculation, Revenue Analysis, Bidding, Liaison & all the approvals from WPC, BIS, MAITY, Customs,
Police & Transport and Launching, Branding, Events , Recruitment, Operations, and Customer Care Setup
& Increasing the ridership. We Launched the project with and event of 5000 cyclist on world Bicycle Day
and made project a success for company, NDMC and Ministry of Urban Development. I also worked closely
with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Home for conducting various events including cycling. I also worked
actively in PBS tenders of Chennai and Chandigarh and won. I was also handling import/export and its
documentation from-to International Locations in Delhi.
Started a proprietorship firm in 2015 Pallav Group and Developed Sports Platform for the corporate and
developed clients like Infosys, HCL, Bank of America, American Express, Amar Ujala, TCS, Mentor
Graphics, Adobe, Accenture, PWC, EY, Mercer, Nippon Steel’s, Mitsui, Maruti, NXP, Nokia and Many other
companies.
