PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Broad level scope of the project is to test features and functionality of Onshape product on various
components/ parts/ subassemblies/ assembly of machine tools. It also include performance testing of
cloud based CAD tool at different modeling conditions based on end users point of perspective such as
feature performance testing, Loading time testing, Performance of real time collaboration, apple to apple
comparison of performance with other CAD tool and performance of import/export.
RESPONSIBILITY:
 Performance testing of cloud based CAD tool at different modeling conditions based on end users
point of perspective.
 Apple to apple performance comparison and benchmarking with respect to other CAD tool.
 Create the CAD models and assembly of the identified machines using cloud based CAD product.
 Provide technical user to user support for global user.
 Create multi-level assemblies with moving parts and check whether Onshape can support those
functionalities.
 Executing the project from multi-site and checking real time collaboration.
 To test the software capability from end user perspective and give the feedback on user
experience, functionality of the product and suggest on improvement.
 To report the bugs if any arising during testing.
 Creating animation video with self-explanatory call out for machine mechanism according to
their functionality.
 Self-Quality compliance.
 Also creating Quality Checklist for each component and updating Project Plan.
