INTRODUCTION
• DEFINATION: Testing of concrete without
destructing or disturbing or damaging or
breaking actual structure of concrete member.
ADVANTAGES OF NDT
1) Wastage of material is avoided.
2) Strength of member can be checked at any
   time , at any point.
3) Less time is required.
4) Strength of wetted as well as dried sample
   can be tested.
METHODS OF NDT
• Rebound Hammer Test.
• Pulse velocity Test.
• Surface Hardness Test.
• Penetration & Pull out Technique.
• Dynamic or Vibration Test.
• Radioactive & Nuclear Method.
• Magnetic & Electrical Method.
• Acoustic & Emission Technique.
A) Schmidt’s Rebound Hammer Test.
Principle’s Rebound Hammer Test.

But what is the Problem?
B) Pulse velocity Test.

• Principle:- Measurement of time of pulse to
  travel through a concrete member.

Conclusion
• Time Saving Technique.
• Economy is achieved.
• Comfortable.
• Flexibility in state of material.
