guides his own private practice in Westminster, CA. Among his professional activities, Dr. Thomas
Tri Quach serves on the boards of multiple professional organizations, including the Vietnamese
American Cancer Foundation.

A nonprofit organization, the Vietnamese American Cancer Foundation (VACF) is committed to
preventing and raising awareness of cancer in the Vietnamese-American community, and it was
recently named the 2019 Nonprofit of the Year by California State Senator Thomas J. Umberg (D–
Santa Ana). Senator Umberg commended the VACF for its record of community support and for
helping patients with cancer, as well as their loved ones, continue to foster hopes and dreams.
4. Vietnamese American Cancer Foundation Named

Founded in 1988, the VACF is located in Orange County, where the immigrant community is
growing at a faster rate than in most parts of the country. The VACF furnishes all people,
regardless of ethnicity, race, gender, age, social status, religion, sexual orientation, or political
affiliation, with free services. This includes psychosocial support designed specifically to be
compatible with Vietnamese culture and beliefs.
