9. Main verbs can be classified into two kinds

10. Main verbs are of two types – regular and irregular.
The difference between regular and irregular verbs is
that – regular verb can be written in the following
forms.
We can add ‘s’, ‘ed’, ‘ing’ to use it in different kind of
tenses; whereas irregular verb doesn’t take on ‘ed’ for
its past form. Either ‘en’ is added to it or the verb is re-
written in a different form, sometimes the past form
is just as the verb itself.

Whenever you come across ‘verb in past participle form’ and ‘verb in
present participle form’, you must add ‘ed’, ‘en’ and ‘ing’ respectively.

‘simple’ and ‘perfect’ tense?
If you notice, there are simple tenses and
