Liquid collectorchimney tray, Demister pad, Tray support ring etc.
Conduct internal inspection of radial/axial flow reactor,CCR units. Asses the integrity of
internal attachment such as Scallops, Inner basket screen, Outer basket screen,
Perforated plate distributor, Deflectionbaffle plate, Centre pipe, Catalyst transfer pipe,
Inlet distributor etc. during outage.
Performinternal inspection of fired heater and asses the integrity of refractory,Burner,
radiant/convection coil,stack, fuel line, dampers etc. during outage.
Perform External inspection of static equipment and asses the condition of concrete
support, Anchor bolt, Grounding connection,Nozzle, Misalignment, hot spots, Vibration,
Protectivecoating /insulation and Skirt supports of vessel.
Inspection of expansion joint both at maintenance outage and during operation prior to
shut downand shortly after start up and record the "hot" & "cold"setting position of
connected pipe support/ guides and reviewedagainst design condition.
Inspection of injection point, process mix point, dead legs, soil to air interface and buried
piping system as per API 570
Ability to supervise & co-ordination of all on-stream and shut-down inspection activities
of static equipment, plant piping and pressure relieving devices.
Inspection and installation of pressure relieving devices as per APIand ASME code.
Inspection of valves(Globe/Plug/Gate/Check/Ball) and conductValves pressure testing
such as Shell test, Back seat test and Closure test as per API598.

Review & analysis of previous inspection reports to summarize the integrity status of the
piping system.
Monitor Coating & insulation condition of plant equipment and piping system
Evaluation of service induced defects in plant equipment’s & piping system
Failure investigation relating to corrosion/erosion affectsand recommends remedial
action.
Witnessing NDT activities such as MT, PT,UTand evaluate radiographic film
interpretation.
Prepare/Review WPS/PQRin accordancewith ASME SECIX,AWSD1.1, and API 110.
Conduct welder qualification test forvarious WPS as per ASME SEC IX, API1104 & AWS

Ensure blasting & painting of vessel, pipes, spools, steel structure & fittings are done in
accordancewith specification.
Conversant withcoating inspection techniques such as surface cleanliness/profile check,
chloride test, Holiday test, WFT/DFTcheck,adhesion test, bresel test, dust test etc.
Familiar with PMItest, Hardness test & PWHT.
To review the QC concerned documents i.e. welding records, welder qualification record,
WPS/PQR,weldmaps, NDE summary, NDE reports, material test certificates, material
summary, fit-up inspection report, visual and dimensional report.
