The document discusses whether vaccines can lead to mental impairments such as autism. It notes that while some vaccines have been accused of causing autism, there are strict testing and monitoring procedures vaccines must go through before approval. These include FDA approval, computer simulations, animal testing, and clinical trials. Once approved, vaccine adverse events are tracked through programs like VAERS and VSD. The document concludes that while students may be susceptible to vaccine side effects when first entering school, there are no proven studies connecting vaccines to mental impairments.

This is a PowerPoint Presentation I created in 2008 to help people better understand proper etiquette when dealing with people with disabilities. I have givne this training to colleagues within the Department of Veterans Affairs as well as people in other organizations. This training is given from personal experience as I have been visually impaired since birth.
Check out these study notes which I found online and which I think will be very useful to you. I have made hard copies which I will give to you at the next lecture.
Since no study has claimed the relationship between the corona vaccine and menstrual cycle, there is no certain cause for the same. However, some experts suggest the following possible causes.

What are Vaccines and How Vaccines are DevelopedPlanet Ayurveda
Vaccines are the talk of the world right now. Some of us have got them and the rest of us are thinking of when and how to get them. You might have heard that getting vaccinated brings you some after-effects like nausea and fever. Some doubtful discussions might also be going around the trustability of newly developed vaccines. What do the vaccines contain? Have you thought about it yet? How do they work? Answers to all such questions are given in this Presentation, watch and add something very precious to Your Knowledge from the Treasure of Planet Ayurveda.

New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection

Primary taste sensations: Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Umami
Chemical basis and signal transduction mechanisms for each taste
Taste Threshold and Index:
Taste threshold values for Sweet (sucrose), Salty (NaCl), Sour (HCl), and Bitter (Quinine)
Taste index relationship: Inversely proportional to taste threshold
Taste Blindness:
Inability to taste certain substances, particularly thiourea compounds
Example: Phenylthiocarbamide
Structure and Function of Taste Buds:
Composition: Epithelial cells, Sustentacular/Supporting cells, Taste cells, Basal cells
Features: Taste pores, Taste hairs/microvilli, and Taste nerve fibers
Location of Taste Buds:
Found in papillae of the tongue (Fungiform, Circumvallate, Foliate)
Also present on the palate, tonsillar pillars, epiglottis, and proximal esophagus

2. Is it True? It is true that not all vaccines are safe. But could they lead to a Mental Impairment? Some Vaccines have been accused of causing Autism
3. Testing Vaccines Must be tested by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Computer Simulations Animal Testing Clinical Trails Manufacturer Back Ground Check Only after all of these test/check up’s can a vaccine be licensed to produced
4. Monitoring the Vaccine Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Health Problems are Reported too Keeps Track of problems Issues Vaccine Recalls Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD)
5. Effect on K-12 Students are at susceptible age were there immune system though fairly developed are still at risk. Children are exposed to many different new pathogens when they first enter schools Vaccines are necessary for some schools
6. Effect on K-12 But there are no proven studies that have connected mental impairments to vaccinations
7. Conclusion To wrap up vaccinated is not bad Vaccines go through a many test before they are approved But if you have conserns check outwhat the FDA, VAERS or VSD has to say
Before Vaccines can be used on the public they must be testedBut even after testing, no vaccine is 100% safe or effective. Also people react differently to the vaccines, some people have adverse effects while other are protected. The FDA use computer programs and animal testing. If it passes those test then the FDA will allow it to be tested on people in a “clinical trail”. If the vaccine passes all of the trails, then the FDA will run back ground checks on the manufacturer before giving them a license. The process can take 10 years.
Once the Vaccine is licensed for public use the FDA requires that all manufactures submit samples for quality control.Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)
