This document summarizes research on human values and perspectives on augmented reality (AR). The researcher conducted interviews with 32 participants from diverse backgrounds to understand how AR should be developed. Most saw AR integrating into everyday life and interactions. Younger participants found continual information exciting while seniors found it alarming. Teachers saw AR potential to reengage disengaged students, especially those with autism or other disorders. Participants rated example AR education, travel and shopping applications and video scenarios. The researcher concludes AR design should be guided by human values and life circumstances.
