lack of transparency
Last week, hundreds of students in UK gathered in
front of the Department for Education and chanted “f**k
the algorithm”. Within days, their protests prompted
officials to reverse course and throw out test scores
that an algorithm had generated for students who
never sat their exams due to the pandemic.
