UNITY MAP
MY IMPRESSION OF USING THE UNITY 
ENGINE 
 When first using the Unity engine I thought it was very simple 
to use when bui lding a terrain and was straight forward when 
adding textures to the terrain to give an interpretation to the 
colour of rocks and grass, I only found di f ficulties when trying 
to add animations to the terrain which involved in making 
long scripts with the codes entered into the them to al low the 
animations to work. But overall I think i f given enough time 
using the unity engine I think I could make an above average 
world but with the amount of time I was given with the engine 
that would not be the case, but I would recommend using this 
again.
UNREAL MAP
MY IMPRESSION OF USING THE UNREAL 
ENGINE 
 When I first star ted using the Unreal engine I was very 
confused as there were many tools that were needed to 
design a terrain and even more tools to actual ly add textures 
to the terrain which I sti l l was unable to add textures as I had 
no guidance what so ever, so the only I could do was bui ld up 
the terrain add more detail to the terrain itself. I tried looking 
t h ro u g h t h e t u to r i al v i d e o s b u t t h ey d i d n ’ t r e a l ly f u l l y ex p l ain 
how to make map on Unreal to substantially good standard 
which lef t me unimpressed, but I worked with what l ittle I was 
able to learn and continued making the map. So overall i f I 
was given more guidance through the unreal engine and the 
tools within it then I would have a better impression of 
weather to use it again or not so because of that I would 
rather use the unity engine.
