1. We use USED TO to indicate a habit in the past as
well as general information.
Example:
• I used to play basketball when I was a kid.

4. Use : Used to / Would
• I didn’t use to play soccer when I was a kid.
• Did you use to go to the park when you were a kid?

5. Use : Used to / Would
WOULD on the other hand is used just to express HABITS
in the past not General Information.
Example:
• When I was six years old, I would study from Monday to Friday.

6. Use : Used to / Would
• ‘Used to’ is followed by the infinitive and is used for
actions which no longer happen. It is used for permanent
situations as well as habitual actions.
