Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun located between Saturn and Neptune. It is named after the Greek god Ouranos and was discovered in 1781 by William Herschel. Uranus is the third largest planet and has at least 22 moons named after characters from Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe. A human would not survive on Uranus due to its harsh conditions including very cold temperatures and lack of oxygen and water.
